Adorable self-proclaimed stylist-musician-model, Kato, is a Welsh girl living in America and specialises in Steam Punk couture.

I’ve had a not so secret crush on A Spoonful of Mint ever since I first saw her work. She’s based in Stockholm and makes the most perfect looking geometric wood jewellery and paints it by hand in contrasting black and pastel colours.

Ricky Powell is commonly known as the Fourth Beastie Boy and Def Jam’s unofficial chronicler. A New York native photographer, it seems logical that he has teamed up with PONY for a limited edition range of dunks that dropped in Berlin last week. I’m no die hard sneaker freak, but these are extremely fresh.

Radlands Clothing was started in 2010 by the talented duo of Mathew Gribben and Sheldon Abba. Found object artist, Brandi Couvillion, has created a new line of chic cuffs with a striking balance of delicate intricacies and industrial chic.

Couvillion’s line, inspired by ephemeral objects, feature etched impressions of fleeting items from our lives: leaves, feathers, and petals, boldly interpreted on a metal canvas. They highlight hand-forged antique escutcheons and hinges, bringing an architectural history to a piece of jewelry. Couvillion’s cuffs and other items are featured in the Lost At E Minor store.

These incredibly bad-ass Fang-soled booties are from Dutch designer Iris Van Herpen’s Haute Couture Spring Summer 2012 collection. Lady Gaga is, unsuprisingly, a fan.

Wearable fairytales in strong colors to be hung on your body or on the wall. Oslo-based jewellery artist Anna Talbot is inspired by wolves, deer, forests and fairytale creatures. She creates big, three dimensional jewellery built layer by layer in adonised aluminium, wood veneer, brass, gilding metal and silver.

I’ve been a big fan of their clothing for a quite a while now, so I was more than excited to collaborate on a couple shirts with Kane and Unke. We pulled a couple pieces from my show last spring and I think they translate pretty well. Watch out for them to drop soon.

Artist Stephanie Simek has created a sweet (literally) line of jewelry: wearable confections made from crystallized sugar, preserved in plastic, and suspended on precious metal. Fashion designers Kalen Kaminiski and Astrid Chastka are making some gorgeous, shibuori-inspired womenswear and accessories. Astrid and Kalen custom dye each of their pieces, embracing the ‘mistake’ as a ‘happy accident’. That’s a very in-the-moment way to create, and I bow down to them.

My friend Kalen, self-described as the ‘horse girl’ in her adolescence, says they are most excited about their transition into apparel from accessories applying their arashi or itajime shibori techniques. For those of you unaware, the arashi technique involves strategic folding, whereas itajime relies on ‘resists’. Everything is hand dyed and one of a kind.

Linda Farrow is the most innovative sunglass designer out there. She gets hired by EVERYONE to design their shades, including Alex Wang, Dries Van Noten, House of Holland, Raf Simons, The Row, and Oscar De La Renta. Most notable is her imaginative line for Jeremy Scott. I love her Jeremy Scott ‘Mickey’ (pictured) for a not so humble 444 bones. You may recognize them as Miss Gaga rocks them in her Paparazzi music video.

Paulina Bojór mixes a timeless earthiness with sculptor. She grew up in the Polish Peoples Republic and there she began by embellishing old clothes, experimenting with bright colours and the avant-garde. She’s now based in London and continues to build her label BOYOR, inspired by graphic patterns and much more.
