University warns students of woman asking strangers on campus to date her son

Mums would do anything and everything to make sure their kids are happy – and that includes trespassing to find them a date.

Towson University in Maryland is on the lookout for a woman who went around campus asking students if they’d like to date her son.

CCTV footage captured the lady going in and out of two buildings, the Cook Library and Center for the Arts, showing people a picture of her son on her cellphone.

University police later released an ‘incident advisory’ alerting students. They also said that they won’t be pressing any criminal charges against the woman but they will ask her to go look for dates somewhere else.

“This incident advisory is being provided in order to make the TU Community aware of an incident on campus that may cause concern,” Charles Herring, chief of the university police department, wrote.

“This advisory is intended to heighten awareness and inform the community of incidents that may impact their safety and security.”

Talk about looking for love in all the wrong places.
