In celebration of February 14, WILD LIFE Sydney Zoo has announced a promotion that lets you name a snake after your snake of an ex.
The competition involves naming one of the world’s deadliest reptiles, a brown snake. To join, simply register your ex’s name here then explain why they deserve to have a danger noodle named after them.
A $1 donation is also encouraged. All proceeds from the promotion will go to the zoo’s conservation fund, which hopes to help local wildlife through research and educational programs.

According to the zoo’s general manager, Mark Connolly, the contest could give “someone unlucky in love… something else to celebrate on Valentine’s Day this year.”
The lucky winner will be announced on Valentine’s Day, and in addition to the naming rights, will also receive an annual pass to visit the snake.
Previously, another zoo unveiled a similar promo wherein you can name a cockroach, also after your ex.
