You might say it’s the latest trending hairstyle.
An unnamed man in China didn’t expect his barber to follow his instructions down to a tee, leaving him with a bald triangle patch on each side of his head.
Apparently, the customer had approached his barber and asked him to recreate a hairstyle he saw in an online video.
He showed the clip while it was on pause, prompting the barber to ask if he also wanted to have the ‘play button’ icon.
Unfortunately for the man, he said yes without understanding the question. Because of this little misunderstanding, he walked away (happily, despite the confusion) with a haircut that would definitely make him go viral.

As of writing, a set of pictures of his haircut has received over 20k comments, 78k likes, and 22k shares on Chinese social media platform Weibo.
Many others have also asked for the barbershop’s address, seeking out the detail-oriented barber.
