Sure, we know Theroux can direct a documentary, but let’s hope he doesn’t have two left feet.
On Saturday night the 2018 season of Britain’s Strictly Come Dancing came to an end. With this grand finale, BBC’s Stacey Dooley and her dance partner Kevin Clifton were announced as the champions.
The pair dominated the dance floor and boot-scooted their way into first place against the likes of former Steps singer Faye Tozer, ex-Pussycat Doll Ashley Roberts, and Youtube sensation Joe Sugg.
This is all very exciting. However, we’re more intrigued by what occurred after Dooley’s win. Louis Theroux – a colleague of Dooley’s – congratulated her via Twitter with the message:
Congrats, @StaceyDooley ! Me next! (JK)

Note the “Me next!” and disregard the “JK”.
As you can imagine, the internet loved this suggestion and has now (with the help of Dooley) began petitioning for Theroux to be on the line-up for 2019’s series of the show.
Louis. You waltzing in a sequin shirt, would shut down the internet and send the entire UK into complete euphoria. ❤️
2019, GIVE US ALL WHAT WE DESERVE 😍 https://t.co/dKix3ZxoH8

Okay.. we’re now 100% on board.
Check out that video of circa 1990 Louis Theroux dancing to ‘Groove is in the heart’ to prep you for what may be… fingers crossed!
