New California Governor’s 2-year-old son adorably crashes the stage during his inaugural speech

Gavin Newsom was newly elected to be California’s 40th governor, and while he had his inauguration speech planned out, his two-year-old son had other plans.

On Monday night when Newsom was in the middle of his speech, his son, Dutch, broke free from his mother’s arms and made his way onto the stage.

The governor handled the unexpected guest very well and even managed to ad-lib a couple of lines which only strengthened the points in his speech.

This clip proves that children just don’t understand or care that their father is important, if they want to be in their father’s arms, then they will go straight to their father regardless of the situation.

Luckily for him, it worked out quite favourably for the new Californian governor.
