Fraser Anning’s name has been on the news a lot recently and none of it has been positive.
The politician was slammed by the media after he was caught attending a racist rally in St Kilda, Melbourne, over the weekend.
This rally, run by the United Patriots Front, housed a large number of protestors and many were seen giving the Nazi salute.
Anning, of course, denies that he was attending the rally despite being seen standing next to United Patriots Front founder, Blair Cottrell, who is known for his dislike for Jewish people.
While denying that he attended a racist rally, and then straight out denying being racist, he goes on to call for a ban on all Muslim and Sudanese migrants entering the country, regardless or not they committed a crime previously.
Many believe that this was all for publicity as he is now fighting for his Senate seat back.
After being sacked from Katter’s Australian Party, he sits as an independent and without the support of a political party, chances of gaining a Senate seat are slim.
