Fatherhood, isolation and Willy Wonka: the fascinating story behind Matt Corby’s new record

Matt Corby continues to be one of the most surprising stories in Australian music.

‘Telluric’ was a soaring, soulful and beguiling debut record that wrongfooted any observer that had only seen him in his Idol years.

We caught up with Matt to talk about how he deals with criticism, his shifting musical compass and mastering the art of ‘Dad Selfies’.

Matt’s new album ‘Rainbow Valley’ is out now and he’ll be touring around the country in early 2019
