Waleed Aly perfectly sums up the REAL issue with the Opera House billboard controversy

The whole controversy with using the iconic Sydney landmark as a billboard for a new horse racing event has divided the city.

However, last night on The Project, Waleed Aly produced a segment which perfectly explains that there is an underlying issue that we are failing to see, and it goes much deeper than politicians simply using the Opera House as a billboard.

For something that affects the whole city, such as using the Opera House, it was a decision made without any input from the citizens itself.

He rips into the politicians, of both sides of the parties, as being “out of touch” with the rest of the citizens and is simply looking to make more money, even if it means selling out the heart of the city.
