From the kitchen cabinet to the closet, the plastic storage bag brand is moving up!
Japanese fashion label BEAMS has partnered up with Ziploc to create accessories made from what’s usually used to store your sandwiches.
Some of the items in the collection include a hat, an umbrella, and a backpack. There’s also an apron, which is so meta, seeing as you’ll be wearing upcycled Ziploc bags while using Ziploc bags to pack lunch.
The apron is the most expensive item, though, priced at JP¥14,040 (about US$126 or AUS$173). The cheapest from the selection, meanwhile, is a little polka-dot pouch which costs JP¥1,296 (about US$11 or AUS$15).
The Ziploc x BEAMS collection made its debut last August 15 in Shinjuku, Tokyo. The items will be available online starting August 20.
