This D&D costume shows that Kenku are scary AF in real life

Great, a five-foot crow, as if regular crows aren’t terrifying enough.

Seattle-based illustrator and art director ‘Rah-Bop’ created this costume of a Kenku, a fictional race of bird-like, humanoid creatures from Dungeons & Dragons.

Based on her D&D character she calls Rue, the costume features some intricate, lifelike details such as sharp claws, feathers made from craft foam and actual bird feathers, and even eyelids and a beak that could move.

Once worn, the suit looks like something you’d never want to come across at night. Or even during the day. Check out the following video, and see how unsettling its stare is.

If you’d like to make your own Kenku costume, ‘Rah-Bop’ details the entire construction process on her blog.
