Meet the boy wonder who draws anatomically correct animals from memory

Poos. Wees. Firetrucks. As far as I remember, this is what a usual 2 year-old boy thinks about. But not Serbian artist Dušan Krtolica, who had already started drawing by then, barely able to hold a pen.

And now at 15, he’s already had 6 solo exhibitions.

While most teenage boys are practising their kissing technique on a defiled pillow, this prodigy is drawing anatomically correct animals.

He even illustrated an encyclopedia a couple of years ago.

What a legend!

And the bit that’s really mind-blowing – he draws entirely from memory.

Yes, anatomically correct elephants, owls and horses, without any references.

He even draws woolly mammoths and dinosaurs from memory, and I’m pretty sure he hasn’t even seen any of those in real life. Freaky!

Of course, natural talent goes a long way, but this kid is just super passionate about nature.

The art prodigy said of his talent, “I love the diversity of the animal kingdom…[And its] ability to adapt and change.”

We could be looking at the next Attenborough here folks.

“Drawing has always been a game for me,” Krtolica continued.

He usually draws for a couple of hours every day.

“It isn’t difficult for me,” he added.

“I enjoy it.”
