What if our fave movie directors designed travel posters?

Take a look at these travel posters and tell me it doesn’t make you wanna book a flight out of here ASAP.

The travel-obsessed folks over at Big Domain have been working in the travel industry for over a decade, but this is the first time they’ve ever sold cities like this.

They’ve taken their favourite movie directors and some of the world’s most famous locations, and merged how they think each director would sell that hotspot.

We have the “dreamy visual style” of Sofia Coppola’s Tokyo, the dark and chilling scenes of Chan-wook Park’s Seoul, and an epic shot of Steven Spielberg’s Petra. And of course there’s a Wes Anderson-esque interpretation of how India may be sold to travelers.

Yup, hit the nail on the head with that one.

All of these posters are pretty cool, but it’s the Tim Burton-inspired poster of Cornwall that really intrigues me.

Who wouldn’t want to visit this English county with its eccentric and spooky vibe?

See all of the posters over at Big Domain.
