In Japan, there are now crotch-accentuating pants for men

British designer Kim Jones has released a trousers collection so weird that even the Japanese are baffled by it.

Made in collaboration with Uniqlo’s mass-market brand GU, the tapered pants feature a piece of cloth in the zipper area that’ll make people stare long and hard at the user’s crotch.

Someone discovered the ballsy item last week and tweeted about it, saying:

“These men’s bottoms, the hell are they. Is this design what’s fashionable now? These pants are embarrassing, and I’m not going to wear them. Is it strange I’m being sensitive? Why change the color there?”

The tweet, which has gone viral, has since sparked national debate and ridicule.

“This is for exhibitionists,” said one commenter, while another added: “Guess this is a dick holder.”

If you’re a wanker who needs trousers that scream “LOOK AT MY DICK,” the collection is available for around US$9 (AUS$11) here.
