Man fakes his death, cat reacts the way we expect them to

For many pet owners, the death of an animal is painful and life-altering. But what if it was the other way around? What would pets do and feel if their human passes away?

The owner of Sparta, a 10-year-old Bengal mix who was adopted in 2007, recently asked himself the exact question: “What would my cat do if I suddenly died?”

In the video above, the man tries to find out the answer to his question with a simple experiment. He fakes a heart attack, then slumps down on the floor. Sparta can then be heard meowing and coming over. What the feline does next is absolutely priceless.

We won’t spoil it for you, so just watch the footage to see how it all ends!
