Donald Trump has never been one to hold his tongue, particularly in the Twitter universe.
Remember when we all thought World War III would be started in less than 140 characters thanks to his online insults of North Korean leader, Kim Jong Un?
Well, his most recent attempt at bashing a public figure fell a little closer to home, after Trump decided to target well known Saturday Night Live comedian… “Alex Baldwin”.
The tweet came after Alec Baldwin recently told The Hollywood Reporter it was “agony” playing the U.S. President.
“I could go out on the street, stand on any corner and tap 10 people on the shoulder. And all 10 of them, in all likelihood, would be more qualified — ethically, morally, intellectually and spiritually — than Trump,” he said.
“I’ll vote for Mitt Romney. I don’t care. Anybody over this guy. It doesn’t matter. We have to get rid of him.”
The tweet was hastily deleted and replaced with a correctly-spelled version. But luckily, the internet was at hand to grab screenshots, so the embarrassing typo can continue to live on forever.
Obviously, Alec Baldwin himself had something to say about Trump’s outburst.
