Chameleon tries to tongue-grab woman’s eyeball

Apparently, chameleons not only eat flies, crickets, and grasshoppers. They like eating human eyeballs too.

In the video above, a Florida woman is seen holding her pet chameleon, named Tuney. At first, the reptile appears calm, just happily sitting there on his human’s palm. However, he suddenly opens his mouth, forcing the girl to move her head back a bit.

But it’s too late. The animal flicks its tongue at her, and hits its target. Luckily for the owner, her eyeball remained in the socket. She can be seen laughing the incident off as she rubs her eye in pain.

I think we’ll stick to cats and dogs for pets, thank you.
