Sperm donor’s daughter travels the world to meet all her 40 siblings

A 21-year old woman named Kianni Arroyo from Orlando, Florida has spent the last five years traveling in search of her numerous half-siblings.

Arroyo is the daughter of a prolific sperm donor who has fathered children in America, Australia, New Zealand, and Canada. But not all of the half-siblings are far away. Arroyo discovered that one of her half-sister’s lives just down the road.

“I was raised just by my mom, and she’s always been honest with me about the fact that I was born to a sperm donor,” Arroyo told Metro.

Arroyo is chronicling her mission to find all her half-siblings on Instagram. She says that she wants to find out more about who she is and has become good friends with many of her new-found family members.

“Even though we’ve never met before, having a father in common gives us a really special link, and means we feel comfortable with one another,” she added.

Half sibling trip, I love the feeling of hanging out with my sisters. Her father prefers to remain anonymous but she did manage to track him down too. Look, if you are related to Arroyo, she will find you.

According to Metro, sperm donor samples are meant to be capped at between 15 and 20, but the company her dad, uh, worked with was taken over and their records were wiped. This resulted in more of his samples getting sent out.

Mini sibling reunion in Maine this summer with 5 siblings. I wish I could have gone to see you guys but getting that time off from work was a little more difficult then I thought. But I can still see the resemblance and of course the differences. But it's crazy to think we all have the same DNA #donor #siblings #spermdonor #uniquestory #thisismystory #bigfamily #bigsister  #LGBT #lgbtq #family #infertility #ivf #donorsiblings #halfsibs #donorchild #spermbank #dna #singlemom #twomoms #littlebrother #dowelookalike #littlesister #notsolittlesister #story #reunion #familyreunion #maine #brothersandsisters

So far, Arroyo has discovered over 40 half siblings. This may sound like a lot but it pales in comparison to a man in Britain named Simon Watson who claims to have fathered 800 children in the past 16 years.

The Daily Mail reports that Watson sells his ‘magic potion’ (ewwww) over Facebook for just £50 (US$70 or AUS$88) a pot.

There are lots of interesting things about Watson, but I’d like to first call your attention to the fact that his car’s number plate is ‘PRO 6EED’.

Simon Watson

Watson says he has children in the UK, Taiwan, Poland, Spain, and Ireland, and boasts a 40 percent success rate with his magic potion.

“I’m very competitive,” he told The Daily Mail. “As time went on and I fathered more and more kids, I thought, ‘I’m going to spend all my available time doing this’.”

Watson says his goal is to get to 1,000. There are some scary implications to letting this guy’s seed run wild all over the world. What if half siblings meet and, their true relationship unbeknown to them, get it on? Oh wait, it has already happened.
