Here’s why it’s a really bad idea to stand in front of a jet engine

It goes without saying that you should never look directly into a jet engine. Buuut since people do dumb things – say for instance, eating Tide pods – here’s a video to drive home the point.

YouTube channel ‘The Hacksmith’ recently uploaded an entertaining (and educational) video pitting a dummy’s face against a roaring jet engine. Spoiler: the machine wins.

Using a mannequin covered with latex as faux human skin, the YouTubers placed it in front of the jet engine. In mere seconds, the dummy’s skin is stripped and shredded, leaving only behind a charred skull. It’s a gruesome yet effective reminder about the dangers of powerful machines.

Now someone please make an experiment telling all these idiots not to eat laundry detergent pods!
