Someone found ironclad proof that Sam Smith and Adele are the same person

Wait, we know it sounds ridiculous, but hear us out – this could be the biggest conspiracy of the decade.

Okay, maybe it is a little ridiculous, but still!

It all started when Twitter user @jesse21valona shared a video of himself playing a vinyl of Adele’s album 25. After a few seconds, he reveals that Adele’s voice sounds almost identical to Sam Smith’s when slowed down.

Naturally, everyone is completely freaking out. The only logical conclusion is that they are in fact the same person.

I mean, have you ever seen the two of them in a room together?

Someone suggested speeding up Sam Smith’s voice to reverse the effect, but it doesn’t *quite* work the same way…
