Forget action movies. This clip of an SUV traversing an abandoned Siberian bridge is way more thrilling.
In 2016, YouTube user Martin Remis went on an epic journey across Mongolia and Siberia. Along the way, he passed the Vitim River Bridge, an old train bridge known for being one of the world’s most dangerous crossings.
In the video above, you can see Remis trying to traverse the structure using his Ford Bronco. Only six-feet-wide and with no railings, the bridge provides no safety features for daring drivers. It doesn’t help that the rotting wooden planks have been made more slippery by year-round ice.
And yet, he somehow lives to tell the tale – or at least, upload his drone video of it.
According to DangerousRoads, “surviving this bridge crossing is such an accomplishment that the 34 people who have done it created their own Facebook page.”
They added: “This bridge tests the skill, and courage, of any driver. Only the suicidal, the insane, or the paid-to-do-this should ever drive down.”
