The things people do for love – or for some, a Tinder date.
Hayden Moll, a freshman at Missouri State University, recently went on the popular dating app and took interest in a girl named Claudia. Problem was, he accidentally swiped left, instead of swiping right.
Not one to give up so easily on the girl of his dreams, he decided to take action. Knowing only the girl’s first name, age, and that she also goes to the same university, Moll looked up all the Claudias in the school’s website.
He then sent all 40 girls named Claudia an email, saying:
Luckily for him, the real Claudia did turn up. She expressed her amusement in a tweet, which has now gone viral.
THIS GUY LITERALLY EMAILED EVERY CLAUDIA AT MISSOURI STATE TO FIND ME ON TINDER pic.twitter.com/x8tQuYmj8Q

Of course, the internet did what it does best, which is reacting to stuff. Some people found the stunt admirable.

Did you message him back with "right" or "left"?

Claudia later said that she thought Moll’s gesture was actually funny, rather than creepy. And to answer everyone’s question, they are planning to go on a doughnut date this week.

Cheers to the (hopefully) happy couple!
