LAEM Sessions: Sons Of The East perform California on the Lost At E Minor rooftop

Sons of the East are an Aussie indie-folk band whose prolific songwriting and dynamic performances have captivated audiences around the world.

Consisting of Jack Rollins on vocals, Nic Johnston, and Dan Wallage, Sons of the East have an effortlessly timeless sound, earning them a passionate and loyal fanbase wherever they tour. Their earthy, rustic sound is built up from a blend of banjo, piano, and guitar, polished off with Jack Rollins, raspy yet charming vocals.

With their debut EP reaching the tenth spot on the Australian Album iTunes chart back in 2013, and their 2016 single Coming Home breaking into the US top 50 charts on Spotify, the Sydney-based three-piece band have a serious reputation behind them.

This year, they’ve cleared 600 000 followers on Spotify, and have amassed millions of streams of their entire catalogue.

They stopped by the Lost At E Minor rooftop earlier this year to perform a couple of songs. Here’s the infectiously catchy indie dance anthem Califoria off their debut EP.
