The Lost At E Minor team has moved into a brand new rooftop office, and to break in our new space, Rekorderlig and a few of our other friends came along to help us throw one hell of a party last week.
Held on our Surry Hills terrace, there was plenty of Rekorderlig Hård Äpple cider flowing as our amazing Lost At E Minor community enjoyed a beautiful sunset over the Sydney skyline.
Jake Stone, the former front-man of Aussie ‘punk-hop’ band Bluejuice and now frontman for supergroup in the making, Comp the Unknown, was on the decks, taking everyone on a musical journey through time and space with a thumping, eclectic set.
The guest list also featured local Sydney based artist, Dale Bigeni, who drew a stunning live artwork over the course of the evening.
Dale’s art has been used by Harley Davidson and Converse, so there’s a good chance you’ve been lucky enough to have seen his art around before
We didn’t want to let Dale have all the fun though, so we also set up our own DIY mural at the entrance, with each guest adding their own touches to a collaborative mural.
If some of these photos look a bit familiar, that’s because our new terrace, where we held our little shindig, is actually where we’ve been filming the LAEM rooftop sessions for the past few months.
The vibe was awesome, and everyone hung around long after the sun went down to mingle, have a boogie and enjoy a few ciders.
