This cat crashing a nativity scene has the Internet in stitches

This grumpy cat might have the facial expression of The Grinch or Ebenezer Scrooge, but he’s definitely bringing holiday cheer with his unintentional nativity scene!

Last week, NYC-based photographer Brooke Goldman was in a sour mood after she made the mistake of offering to see off her travel-bound boyfriend at the train station in the early morning. Still in a sleepy haze, she got out of bed and walked with him.

“I was pretty out of it,” Goldman told The Dodo. “I was trying to get home as fast as possible to go back to sleep and wasn’t ready for the day at all.”

But then, she saw something that would brighten her day: a nativity scene with a plump cat sitting in the manger!

“I was laughing my ass off,” she said. “I guess you can definitely say he brought me joy while I was walking home. It was mood-lifting, most definitely. Laughing that hard that early in the morning makes the rest of the day much more positive.”

Even better, Goldman posted the photos she took on Facebook, spreading the good vibes all around.

“If I fits I sits,” said one commenter, while another added, “This is exactly how I imagined the second coming of Christ!”

Now, where can we get one of those for our home décor?
