During a Q&A session celebrating the 20 year anniversary of Wag the Dog, John Oliver, the panel’s moderator, confronted star Dustin Hoffman over the slew of sexual harassment allegations made against him.
The 45-minute discussion, which also featured co-star Robert De Niro and producer Jane Rosenthal, took a stark turn when Oliver addressed the claims.

Hoffman is alleged to have grabbed Anna Graham Hunter’s buttocks and spoken to her inappropriately while she was a 17-year-old production assistant.
The Washington Post reported that the HBO host steered the conversation towards the allegations, saying “This is something we’re going to have to talk about because . . . it’s hanging in the air”.
De Niro and Rosenthal fell uncomfortably quiet as Hoffman attempted to justify his actions with sarcastic remarks.
John Oliver just went after Dustin Hoffman big time on sexual harassment at this Wag The Dog panel. Hoffman grew visibly uncomfortable. "You weren't there," he says to Oliver. "I'm happy I wasn't," Oliver replied.

The debate went on for about 30 awkward minutes.
