Due to a number of crucial evolutionary factors, pets can’t paint their own nails.
The lack of fingers mean they don’t have the requisite dexterity to pull off such a task, they have no need to paint their nails, and they don’t know what nail polish is.
Luckily they have lovable idiot humans in their lives who have evolved to the point not only where we can paint our own nails, but also our pets.
And so for some reason, that’s pretty much all people are doing on the Internet these days.

Word to the wise though, don’t go using human nail polish on your furry little mates because the chemicals could be toxic.
Instead chuck on some non-toxic stickers or clear nail caps if for whatever reason (definitely…not…judging…) this is a thing you want to do.
