These LEGO cats are perfect for those who can’t get the real thing

Pets not allowed in your apartment building? Can’t bring your cat to work? Here’s the purrfect, albeit cold and lifeless, alternative.

Hong Kong-based company JEKCA has come up with a collection of LEGO-inspired figurines that look like cats. The pixelated sculptures measure 1.6-feet high and come in different breeds and poses.

The toy kittens come in a kit you can assemble at home. And once you do, you can easily position them anywhere you’d like, be it on a shelf, inside a cardboard box, or the most realistic place of all, on top of your open laptop.

A cat made from blocks

While it may not fully replace the love and affection (or hatred and jerkiness) of a real feline, it’s a good substitute for those who can’t own pets due to allergies or a**hole landlords.

If you’re not a cat person, there are other models available, such as dogs, parrots, pandas, as well as burgers, chips, and drinks.

A single sculpture will set you back AUS$86 (US$66). See the entire collection over at the JECKA website.
