His is one of the most recognisable faces in the world, but it seems this mother can’t distinguish between Supreme Leader Kim Jong-un’s mug and her own son’s.
This classic gag surfaced when Twitter user Jake Slater from Derby shared a photo of their staircase at home, typically adorned with some framed family photographs. The only problem was, one of them was of the infamous North Korean dictator Kim Jong-un.
And no, their family doesn’t have any kind of sympathy for the strongman’s antics (as far as we can tell). It was a prank crafted by Jake’s brother, and it had been going on for a full two weeks. Have a look:

Jake tweeted out the shot of the portrait hanging up on their home’s wall back in the first week of May, and the post has since earned over 60,000 retweets and 150,000 likes. Wowza.
Arguably more hilarious were the responses of people recalling how they’ve done the same prank. For example:

Funny? For sure. These pranksters are potential internet stars, and we certainly can’t wait for the next stunts they pull off. Keep creating, fellas.
