Wes Anderson just dropped a Christmas short film and it’s the best present ever

BOOM! Out of nowhere, a Wes Freaking Anderson short film. Today is a good day.

The Oscar winning director who gave the world The Royal Tenenbaums, Moonrise Kingdom and The Grand Budapest Hotel has surprised his fans by releasing an absolutely adorable-as-hell, four-minute long short.

It’s technically for H&M, but other than the logo down the bottom, you wouldn’t be able to tell that it’s #branded #content.

With the trademarks aesthetic of a classic Wes Anderson film, it stars his good mate, Adrien Brody, and is the first good Christmas-themed movie since Home Alone ;).

The narrative follows a train conductor, Ralph, whose train gets stuck in wild weather – leaving all of his passengers stranded on Christmas.

I don’t want to spoil it for you, because you really should watch it for yourself, it’s pretty great.

**CORRECTION**: The first good Christmas movie since Home Alone 2.
