LA-based photographer Casey Elise has come up with a series that prove cats are adorable – no matter what they look like.
The creative works with animal shelters and rescue groups to help promote animal adoption. She mainly uses her talents with a camera to make abandoned pets look better, enabling them to have better chances of finding a loving family.
Recently, she’s partnered up with Milo’s Sanctuary, a special needs cat rescue centre. She’s set up a GoFundMe page and snapped the felines looking cute AF.
“A few months ago, I noticed an increase in the number of blind cats and kittens at the shelter and rescues where I volunteer. It felt like a sign so I decided I would do a series on blind cats,” she told Lost At E Minor.
Casey added that the centre was “founded on the belief that all cats deserve a second chance at life, especially those that have physical disabilities, are seniors, have a terminal illness, or have been abused and need someone to love and understand them.
“Milo’s Sanctuary relies solely on donations to continue their mission to help special needs cats and kittens that would otherwise die abandoned in the shelter or on the street.”
