I don’t know about you, but when I google pictures of what Mötley Crüe look like these days the first thought I have is NOT ‘I sure want those guys in and around my genitals’. Unfortunately, nobody has told them that.
Earlier this year, the ’80s rock band announced their collaboration with British adult toy manufacturer Lovehoney. The line of Mötley Crüe sex toys will be on sale in September, although ‘line’ isn’t quite the right word, as there are only two different models on offer.
Despite the amount of money that must have gone into the venture, it seems that customers actually only have the choice of a large vibrator or a smaller bullet. Of course, they can choose one of eight designs inspired by Mötley Crüe hits such as Dr Feelgood, Too Fast For Love, and Girls Girls Girls.
But while the songs might as well have been written for this purpose, the graphics look decidedly crappy. Perhaps the Crue were just jealous of the success of Lovehoney’s Motorhead toys. It seems they were just too… hard an act to follow.
