Canon’s camera room at the Olympics is photography heaven

At the Rio 2016 Olympics, the athletes aren’t the only ones who came prepared. So are the official photographers, who brought with them over 1,500 lenses and 950 DSLR bodies!

Canon recently shared with PetaPixel some photos of their stockpile for the Olympic Games. Called the Canon Professional Services (CPS) Depot, the room is basically photography heaven, housing hardware neatly arranged from floor to ceiling.

The massive collection is being used by professional Canon photographers, who even have a 78-person support staff ready to help them cover the Games.
