Guy secretly photographs commuters as 16th-century paintings

In his series 16th Century Tube Passengers, photographer Matt Crabtree secretly recreates his fellow London tube commuters as characters from Flemish paintings.

“All these shots are taken, retouched and sent from my phone whilst on the tube journey,’ he said. “I’m capturing the most of mundane commuter moments with a quiet, classical beauty.”
