When the Brazilian visual artist Mauro Martins got a job offer in Boulder, Colorado, he didn’t know what to expect, except that it would be a great life experience – especially for a guy who had never seen snow before. So he accepted right away.
Mauro decided to document everything in a diary so he would remember the details when back in Brazil. This is not your standard diary though.
Instead of writing, Mauro made small, detailed doodles on a single piece of paper, filling it out completely. Every doodle represents a moment of his life in the US.
