This mammoth cruise ship offers bumper cars and roller skating in the same venue

Taking a cruise is not what it used to be. For starters, cruising is no longer sitting on a deck chair and watching the world go by. For passengers of Royal Caribbean’s Anthem of the Seas, cruising means an adventure of a lifetime. And that means a ship full of incredible experiences, like live entertainment, skydiving simulators, high-class dining spots (including Jamie’s Italian by Jamie Oliver), and 16 guest decks to really spread out.

But if you want to have even more fun on the high seas, head to Anthem of the SeasSeaPlex. This is the largest indoor sports and entertainment space at sea and offers a circus school and basketball court. But it also features the first-ever roller rink and bumper cars at sea.

Strap up your roller skates for the roller rink and enjoy a day of skating around the massive roller rink. Or, if you prefer, jump into a bumper car and speed around the complex like a daredevil! Come evening, the SeaPlex space can transform into a disco arena, with a floating DJ booth and fluorescent lighting to heat up the party.

Now, if that wasn’t enough, the SeaPlex also has the first-ever food truck at sea – the SeaPlex Dog House – serving up gourmet hot dogs. Now that’s what we call a fun day out. And its sister ship, Royal Caribbean’s Ovations of the Seas is coming to Australia later in the year. More here.
