Passengers notice the door of their plane isn’t closed, 10,000 feet in the air!

If your worst nightmare is flying, only to find that the aircraft’s door hasn’t been closed properly, a whole bunch of people just experienced that and survived. So there’s that. The nightmarish incident took place onboard a Jin Air flight bound for Busan, when, 10,000 feet in the air, it was found that a door wasn’t properly sealed. In fact there was a gap between the door!

No passengers were sucked out of the plane (that was my first thought when I heard the door wasn’t properly sealed) but some did complain of headaches and pain in their ears. And, I suspect, a sh*tload of anxiety in boarding another plane.

After 30 minutes of flying, the plane was forced to return to Chebu Airport in Seoul where all 163 passengers were offloaded and seated on another plane.

Gotta go cancel my travel plans now…
