The hilarious winners of the very first Comedy Wildlife Photography Awards

Wildlife photographer Paul Joynson-Hicks loves nothing more than a funny animal photo, so he founded the Comedy Wildlife Photography Awards that just announced its first winner!

The competition was open to any photographer who captured animals in the wild doing weird and outrageous stuff that made us laugh (within the past 99 years).

The winner — who this year was Julian Rad — received the kudos of being named as the inaugural winner of the 2015 Comedy Wildlife Photography Awards, a Nikon camera, as well as a one-week photographic safari in Southern Tanzania. Not bad at all!

If you think you have the photography skills to snap a wild animal doing something completely bizarre and hilarious, join The Comedy Wildlife Photography Awards’ mailing list and keep updated on next year’s competition.
