What Stormtrooper helmets would look like if they were animals

What if the clones in Star Wars were based on animals instead of Jango Fett? New York-based artist William Blank gives us an idea of what that would look like in his series ‘New Order Black’.

It involves three sculptures depicting a rhino, a hippopotamus, and an elephant as part of the Stormtrooper Corps. The headgear – which come in white and black sets – reflect the different facial features of each animal. For instance, the elephant helmet includes protection for its big, floppy ears and long trunk, while the rhino comes equipped with a gorgeous chrome cover (or gold for the black suit) for its horn.

Those annoying Ewoks wouldn’t have stood a chance if the Galactic Empire had a blaster rifle-wielding hippo on the team! You dropped the ball on your recruitment program there, Darth Vader.
