You probably thought you were the world’s biggest burrito fan, right? I sure did — I’ve eaten burritos every few days for the past five years (yes, I’ve been counting) — but there’s one guy who knows burritos better than all of us, and he’s travelling all over North America illustrating and scoring these delicioso masterpieces.
Random Cushing has started The North American Adventurer’s Guide To Burritos as a side project for when he’s travelling around. And instead of just illustrating the burritos he eats, this talented artist also scores each burrito with a complex rating system!
Each burrito is graded for Roll, Ingredients, Dispersal (this one is very important, as any burrito lover will tell you), and Sauce.
‘Each criteria is measured out of 4 points (in ¼ increments) and averaged the total for the score’, notes Cushing on his website. Now if that’s not dedication, I don’t know what is.
So far, Cushing has eaten and illustrated burritos in Texas, Utah, California, New Mexico, Ohio, Oregon, and more, and made us all very, very hungry in the process.
