Disclaimer: you’re about to get a strong dose of #wanderlust after seeing these photos. Every weekend, 41-year-old Tomasz Furmanek takes photos that show the perspective of a kayaker exploring Norway’s stunning fjords.
Armed with a helmet-mounted GoPro and two Sony compact cameras, Furmanek goes on his adventures whenever he has time off from work at The Institute of Marine Science in Bergen. He’s been doing this for a decade now and he’s been to places like the Aurlandsfjord, the coast of Sotra, and the inland lakes around the Lofoten Islands. And if that’s not enough to make you envious, he gets to see the Northern Lights every day.
‘I kayak mainly because it is an easy way to get mental balance’, he said. ‘You get close to nature in a kayak and can experience things that is not possible while hiking’.
You can see more of his photos over on Instagram, where he has already over 60,000 followers (all of whom probably want to go kayaking right now).
