This is the Fallout-themed basement door all gamers need to have

Newfoundland, Canada-based gamer Trey Hill recently posted photos of his basement/man cave slowly being redecorated into a real-life vault from the popular video game franchise ‘Fallout’.

The man cave, which is still mostly under construction, features a game room and an office that has a Vault-Tec vault door. According to Hill, the wooden vault was built in a month with only a $400 budget. It can be opened and closed by rolling the entire thing over, though he adds that he might add a fingerprint scanner in the future. Hill, an IT manager, even put in the designation ‘404’, the missing web page code, as a quirky detail.

‘I tell most people I built it because I am north and bored, but the real reason is I recently built the house’, he told PC Gamer. ‘My wife said, ‘since you built us a house, the basement is yours to do what you want’. She may end up regretting that statement’.
