While most of us can’t even reach our toes, 2-year-old named Arat Hosseini from Iran can already do backflips and handstands, making him one of the youngest (and one of the most promising) gymnasts in the world.
With no professional training, Hosseini started doing gymnastics exercises at just 9 months old – shortly after his dad, Mohamed, discovered he had extraordinary grip strength and power. Since then, he’s been practicing for about 20 minutes every day. He’s perfected moves like splits, backward somersaults and walkovers (basically things toddlers don’t usually do).
‘Arat is an extra special person and in sport he will be unattainable – he will succeed’, Mohamed said. ‘My wish is that Arat finds a lot of good friends in the world. Success is our goal and we can finish’.
You can follow Hosseini over on Instagram, where he already has over 22,500 followers.
