This restaurant only serves food from countries the US is in conflict with

Hmm, so how many countries is the U.S. in conflict with now? Can you keep up? In Pittsburgh, there’s a restaurant called Conflict Kitchen that only serves up food from countries the U.S. is in conflict with! The restaurant’s current food theme is Cuban, so you can pick up everything from Ropa Vieja to Majarete.

The restaurant might sound like a bit of a novelty but Conflict Kitchen was created so that the public can be more informed in current geopolitical events. The eatery also holds performances and discussions the public can attend to learn more about America’s role in different regions of the world.

Past menus have included food from Venezuela, North Korea, Iran, Palestine, and Afghanistan. It might be Cuban food now but which country do you think will be next?
