To mark the 25th birthday of ‘The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air’, online fashion store ‘Lyst’ collaborated with illustrator Leland Foster to give the show a… fresh look.
Imagining what the cast would look like in 2015, Foster was able to preserve each character’s unique style while giving them updated wardrobe changes. For example, Carlton looks like a modern-day geek with his Apple Watch and Google glasses, while Geoffrey looks like the trendiest butler we’ve ever laid eyes on. As for the Fresh prince himself? He’s a hipster, of course!
‘The Fresh Prince of Bel Air was so stylish, and so of-its-time as a classic 90s show’, Foster explained. ‘The challenge was to make the Banks family relevant and recognisable, while keeping all the energy of these six very different personalities’.
