A forgotten Lego man takes on Peru, gives us all a bad case of wanderlust

Sharing our ‘short’ adventures is quickly becoming a craze in the Instagram world. From my friends taking quick snaps with their Lego men, to celebrities like Chris Pratt taking pictures with his Lego doppelgänger. We are following Lego men all over the world off on adventures.

The Forgottenlegoman’s adventures began in January 2013 when he was left behind, forgotten and wedged between the couch cushions. He started taking pictures of his adventures to send to his owners Lachie, 9 and Jack, 7 who live over 4 hours away. And they would send back pictures of what all my Lego friends were up to back home.

Now I’m sharing my adventures with the world!

I have been exploring the incredible and diverse landscapes that Peru has to offer. I will be here for 3 weeks, which I’m quickly finding is not enough time!

I have been sharing my unique perspective of the Inca Trail and the Amazon River through Instagram. Peru has so much to offer for every type of traveller and I’m hoping my lighthearted standpoint will encourage others to see it for themselves.

Head on over to Forgottenlegoman on Instagram to follow along.

The floating islands of Lake Titikaka! A small community of 5 families all live together on a 20 square metre island made from reeds. The Uros people greeted us with a traditional song and dance! #adventures of the #forgottenlegoman
