This Star Trek-like elevator fits nicely into the corner of your room

What’s up with stairs? They’re so last year. This year it’s all about the Star Trek elevator, or more commonly known as the Lifestyle Lift.

Created by Cheshire-based Terry Lifts, this elevator costs between $19,000 and $22,000, and was launched three years ago, with 200 of them sold already in the UK.

The elevator pod can hold up to two people (time to get squeezy!) and includes downlights, handrails, a seat, and a glass door. What’s also great about this Star Trek-like elevator is that it only takes up a small amount of space in the corner of any room. Oh, and the cool sci-finess of it all!
