World’s best job? This guy paints epic internet memes onto utility boxes in NZ

New Zealand looks like the place to go if you want to get your street art noticed. Back in 2013, artist Paul Walsh painted a Grumpy Cat on a wall at his local dog park (after a few beers) but it got painted over. Locals were upset, petitioned the council and low and behold, a local newspaper published what had happened.

The story doesn’t stop there, though. Once the article was in the paper, someone who works for a utility box company saw that article and knew how to put Walsh’s talent to good use. It’s now been two years since Paul Walsh was asked to decorate the utility boxes around Auckland, and he’s received praise from his local community, for obvious reasons. This kid has talent!
