True story: Astronauts had to go through customs after return from moon landing

Coming back from that famous moon landing in 1969, Apollo 11 astronauts Neil Armstrong, Buzz Aldrin and Michael Collins had to sign a US Customs General Declaration form to declare the moon rock and moon dust samples from their moon landing mission.

Amusingly, the space trip was stated as a trip that started at the then Cape Kennedy, with a stopover on the moon, and ending in Honolulu, where they were feted at Pearl Harbour. How administratively badass.
