An exclusive New York social club is only open to dogs and their human owners

Sometimes you want to take your laptop to a cafe and have your four-legged friend accompany you. Sometimes you want your dog to socialize with other dogs but can’t find an appropriate space for that to happen. And sometimes you want to socialize with people, but only dog people. Enter Ruff Club!

This New York establishment is a dog-friendly social club located in a really cool century-old tavern in downtown Manhattan. Dog owners have to pay a yearly subscription and in return they get space with free Wi-Fi and locally-roasted coffee. Unfortunately not everyone can join the club – you’ll have to own a dog (obviously) and have your furry friend pass a temperament test. The social club even has a scholarship program for low-income owners with a rescue, service or retired military/fire/police dog.

Only in NYC!
